The Indian stock market ended on a mixed note on 18 September 2026. The Nifty 50 gained 75.80 points to close at 23,346.40, while the Sensex edged up 19.63 points to settle at 74,294.96. Easing crude oil prices and positive global cues supported selective buying, although IT and selected Tata Group stocks remained under pressure. The Indian stock market ended mixed on 17 September 2026 after a highly volatile session.
