Swing Trading
About Swing Trading
Not every trade needs to be a day-long sprint or a years-long marathon. Swing trading lives in the middle-capturing price moves that unfold over a few days to a few weeks, without requiring you to watch a screen every minute of the trading day.
This course teaches you how to spot and ride these medium-term price "swings." You'll learn to combine technical analysis-chart patterns, support/resistance, momentum indicators-with a bit of fundamental context to identify stocks that are set up to move over a 2 to 30 day window.
You'll cover the essentials of a solid swing trade:
- Entry timing - recognizing when a stock is coiled up and ready to move, not chasing it after the move has already happened
- Holding periods - understanding how to let a trade breathe over days or weeks without panicking on short-term noise
- Exit strategy - using trailing stops, target levels, and risk/reward planning to know when to book profits or cut losses
Swing trading strikes a balance most people are looking for: it's active enough to be engaging and profitable, but doesn't demand the full-time attention that day trading requires.
By the end of this course, you'll have a practical, repeatable framework for entering and exiting trades with a multi-day horizon-turning short-term market moves into a structured trading strategy rather than a guessing game.
